Social Media Image Editor
Create a post, story, cover, thumbnail, ad graphic, or other social image on one private, browser-based canvas.
Your selected image and design text are processed in your browser. This editor does not upload them, send them to a processing server, or store them. Your browser still contacts the website host to load this page and its files; see the Privacy Policy.
How to make a social media image
- Choose a category and format, such as Instagram Story, YouTube thumbnail, profile picture, or LinkedIn banner.
- Upload an image from your device, select a background, and choose whether the image fills or fits the canvas.
- Add a headline and supporting text. Adjust text size, alignment, color, and vertical placement while watching the preview.
- Download as PNG, JPEG, or WebP. The export is created on your device by your browser.
Example: Choose “Instagram Story — 1080 × 1920”, upload a product photo, use Fill canvas, then add a short offer and call to action. Keep important text inside the preview safe-area guide and check the final image on Instagram before publishing.
About the 38 format presets
The presets group practical image types into 10 categories: YouTube thumbnails, social posts, cover photos and banners, profile pictures, stories and Reels, video covers, ads and promotions, logos and branding, posters and flyers, and other designs. They are starting canvas sizes, not a library of 38 ready-made templates. The dashed 10% preview guide is generic; it is not an official safe area for every platform. Platform recommendations, file limits, and crop behavior can change or differ by placement. A preset does not guarantee that a platform will accept or display a design exactly as previewed; check the platform’s current upload guidance before publishing.
For current examples, check the official YouTube thumbnail guidance, YouTube channel branding guidance, X profile image guidance, and LinkedIn single-image ad specifications.
Editing limits and image privacy
This editor creates a single flattened image from one uploaded image, a background color, and two text layers. It does not create video, animated graphics, multiple-slide carousels, or platform-specific posting files. Image decoding and export support depend on your browser and device; large canvases may use substantial memory. Keep a copy of your source image. Do not upload artwork you do not have permission to use.
